CIM servedas a media partner for the event. In 1999 I ran the BOWC project: designing the website and administering the site at the event location during its run. We had real-time scoring and images feeding to viewers around the world, and ran chat sessions with players that drew hundreds of participants from around the world. This professional triathlon, which mimics the route a con might need to follow to escape the Rock, draws top athletes from around the world. We set up a mobil image streaming system that utilized a bullet camera and a wireless modem, to broadcast the action as it happened.
