I was doing an exercise as part of the Messier August Creativity Challenge, the direction being to gather the various greens around your immediate surroundings. This launched a flurry of picture taking in our backyard. It was a great excuse to try out a new macro lens. There was a beautiful succulent in bloom that was attracting lots of pollinators, of the bee, fly and wasp variety. Always amazing what you can find right around you.
