Tropical frogs from around Ecuador.

Frogs are cute. And usually you only see them at night. And they are noisy in a wonderful way. Also an indicator of ecosystem health.

These are from a few spots in Ecuador: Mashpi and Maquipacuna reserves in the western Choco, Reserva San Isidro in the Eastern Andes foothills, and Sacha along the Rio Napo in the Amazon.

Photo note - I've been working on not using a flash with the frogs at night. It seems that a constant light source is ok, as they can adjust. But the big pop of a flash can be distressing.
